Woman Crush Wednesday #4 : Vanessa Hudgens

I'm a High School Musical fan. I remember how I fell into this franchise's clutches. I was around 15 and criticizing it very hard, like I also did with Twilight (I really hate Twilight, don't get me wrong). Then, on a lazy summer afternoon, I catched the first movie on TV. These songs were so catchy and the love story was so cheesy, I couldn't get my head off the screen ! That was it, I was into High School Musical. I tried to deny it in front of my friends for a long time but then the third movie came out and that was it. I was part of Gabriella and Troy's crew, I could dance and sing to every song, I felt concerned and I was so sad it was already over... I still listen to some HSM songs sometimes, to remind me of good old times...
 If there was a #ManCrushMonday section on this blog, I think most of it would be Zac Efron's pictures. I mean, isn't he the hottest men alive ? I was so relieved when Zacnessa broke up. The man was back on the market. And I have to admit that they were such a cute couple, it hurt... Then a couple of years ago, I started watching The Carrie Diaries and I fell under the spell of Austin Butler. Puppy eyes and fleshy lips, how could I resist ? My friend told me immediately to calm the heck down because he was having a nice and cute relationship with... Vanessa Hudgens ! Ok girl, we have the same taste when it comes to men. Bring it on !

Je suis fan d'High School Musical. Je me rappelle très bien comment je suis tombée dans les griffes de la franchise. J'avais environ 15 ans et je n'y allais pas de main morte pour critiquer ces films, comme je le faisais pour Twilight (je déteste vraiment Twilight par contre, ne vous méprenez pas). Et un jour, pendant un après-midi glandouille estival, je suis tombée sur le premier film sur W9 ! Et voilà, j'étais fan d'High School Musical. J'ai essayé de me voiler la face devant mes amis pendant longtemps et puis le troisième film est sorti et c'était fini. Je faisais partie du groupe de Gabriella et Troy, je pouvais chanter et danser sur toutes les chansons, je me sentais concernée par leurs problèmes et j'étais inconsolable quand ça s'est terminé. J'écoute encore quelques morceaux d'High School Musical de temps en temps, pour me rappeler le bon vieux temps...
 S'il y avait une rubrique #ManCrushMonday sur ce blog, je pense que beaucoup d'articles concerneraient Zac Efron. N'est-il pas le plus bel homme sur Terre ? J'étais tellement soulagée quand Zacnessa ont rompu. Zac était de retour sur le marché. Et puis, je dois admettre qu'ils étaient tellement mignons ensemble, s'en était agaçant... Et puis il y a quelques années, j'ai commencé à regarder The Carrie Diaries et suis tombée sous le charme d'Austin Butler. Avec des yeux de chiots et des lèvres charnues, comment résister ? Mon amie m'a tout de suite dit de me calmer parce que le mâle s'avérait être dans une belle et jolie relation sentimentale avec... Vanessa Hudgens ! D'accord ma fille, on a les mêmes goûts en matière de mecs. Je t'attends !

Don't get me wrong. It's not a #ManCrushMonday post but really a #WomanCrushWednesday one. So, as a High School Musical fan, I really put Vannessa Hudgens up on a pedestal. Her outfits in the movies where absolutely awful. But in the streets, the girl is a gipsy queen. It's all about lace, crochet, wide-brimmed hat, 70s inspired jewelry, long wavy hair, maxi skirts, high waisted shorts, crop tops, flares, fringes... She spreads California beauty everywhere she goes. She's the goddess of Coachella. And her smile is so warm ! Austin Butler is her best accessory as he's almost as stylish as her. I find her, and them as a couple, so inspiring. I know winter is coming but still, she's my favorite summer inspiration. I hope these two will stay together for a long time and keep making me dream. Maybe they'll gift the world with a magnificient baby, who knows ?

Ne vous fourvoyez pas. Ce n'est pas un article #ManCrushMonday mais bel et bien un article #WomanCrushWednesday. Donc, en tant que fan d'High School Musical, je mets vraiment Vanessa Hudgens sur un piédestal. Ses tenues dans les films étaient totalement horribles. Mais en réalité, c'est une vraie reine hippie ! Il n'y en que pour la dentelle, la maille, les capelines, les bijoux inspirés des 70s, les longs cheveux ondulés, les maxi jupes, les shorts taille haute, les crop tops, les pattes d'eph', les franges... Elle répand la beauté californienne partout où elle va. C'est la déesse de Coachella. Et son sourire est tellement chaleureux... Austin Butler est son meilleur accessoire étant donné qu'il est aussi stylé qu'elle. Je trouve une source d'inspiration en elle et dans leur couple. Je sais que l'hiver arrive mais elle reste tout de même mon inspiration estivale préférée. J'espère que ces deux là vont rester ensemble encore longtemps et continuer à me faire rêver. Peut-être qu'un jour ils vont nous faire le cadeau d'un magnifique bébé, qui sait ?

Voilà ce que j'ai en tête en ce moment. Bien évidemment, en bonne fille bien contradictoire, je me réveille 150 ans plus tard pour les sneakers Isabel Marant. Au départ, quand les toutes premières Willow sont sorties, je n'adhérais PAS DU TOUT mais alors pas du tout au concept. "Beuuurk des basket à talon, c'est vilaiiiin!" Puis j'ai vu les nouveaux modèles de cette année, dont celles ci-dessus, les Bois de Rose. Et mon cœur a fait badaboum. Bon, elles sont sold out everywhere, en plus je chausse du 41 et accessoirement, je suis fauchée. Je n'ai absolument pas 400€ à mettre dans ces godasses. A ce prix là, je m'achète une paire de Loubis... J'hésite donc beaucoup à acheter des ersatz sur eBay mais j'ai peur de la mauvaise qualité. On verra bien...

This is what's in my head right now. Of course, I am waking up 150 years later about the Isabel Marrant sneakers. When the first Willow came out, I really didn't like it. I was like "ugh, heeled sneakers, how ugly is that shit ?!". And then I saw the new ones, like the ones above, the Bois de Rose. I loved them in a heartbeat. But they are sold-out everywhere, and I am size 7 and I am broke as fuck. I really don't have 400€ to spend in these shoes. For that much money, I am buying Louboutins ha ! So I am hesitating on buying ersatz on Ebay but I am not sure about the quality. We'll see..

Au même titre que le perfecto rouge, je suis aussi sur la quête du St Graal du pantalon ciré. Si quelqu'un a des bons plans: je prend ! J'aime le côté rock et sophistiqué qu'il apporte de suite à une tenue. Rock et sophistiqué c'est tout ce que je cherche en ce moment. D'où le bandeau en dentelle, d'où les bijoux à pic/clous, d'où le smoky eye, d'où le rêvé Alexander Wang (inch'allah un jour il sera mien !).

Just as the red perfecto, I am looking for the holy Grail coated pants. If anyone has tips: I'am taking it ! I like how rock and sophisticated they look. Rock and sophisticated are my everything at the moment. That's why I am crushing on that lace bandeau, the studded jewellery, the smoky eye, the Alexander Wang bag of my wildest dreams...

Ensuite pour adoucir la tenue tout en gardant un côté street, le crop tee blanc un peu loose un peu transparent. Je m'imagine tout de suite cheveux au vent, clope au bec, smoothie à la main (bobo!) à parcourir les rues de Paris. Et puis ce genre de pièce est recyclable à la plage (eh oui, l'été approche les gonz' !), par dessus le maillot de bain. Les plumes c'est pour l'effet bobo et léger que j'aime bien, et le rappel de couleur avec les godillots. J'aurais pu ajouter un chapeau melon noir ou une capeline à la tenue, mais j'ai encore du mal avec les couvre-chefs donc je vous laisse gérer ça.

Then to soften the outfit but while keeping the urban vibe, I added a white crop tee a bit loose and see-through I can immediately imagine myself wind blowing through my hair, smoking a cigarette, smoothie in the hand (hipster!) wandering through the streets of Paris. And you can wear these qt the beach (summer is coming bitches) with your swimsuit. Feathers are for a lighter vibe that I like and to match the colour of the shoes. I could have added a bowler hat or a wide-brimmed hat to the outfit but I am still struggling with headgear so you decide !

Le rouge à lèvre en plus du rappel de couleur, c'est parce que je me suis rendue compte que sur ma peau caramel, le rose bien flashy aux lèvres ça envoyait du fat ! Je pense donc passer à l'acte sous peu !

Lipstick is to match the colour of the shoes but also because I noticed that with my brown skin, flashy pink on the lips looks amazing so I am going to give it a try soon !

Pour récapituler, si quelqu'un sait où je peux me fournir en jean ciré et sneakers Isabel Marant, je suis preneur !

To conclude, if anyone knows where I can find a decent pair of coated jeans and Isabel Marant sneakers, I am all ears !

En parlant de "Sorcière", j'ai vu il y a quelque mois de ça le film navet "Beastly" aka "La Belle et la Bête" version 2011. Eh bien que dire à part que c'était une belle bouse ? Vanessa Hudgens joue toujours aussi mal la petite fille sage, le scénario est pourri... Bref, une perte de temps. Pourquoi j'en parle alors ? Eh bien mes enfants, tout simplement grâce aux looks de la sorcière 2.0 du film, qui est interprété à la perfection par Mary-Kate Olsen. C'est simple, les vêtements qu'elle porte dans le film je les trouve juste à tomber. Je vous laisse donc voir les captures d'écran que j'ai fait avec mon pc.

Talking about "Witches", I saw a couple of months ago the crappy film "Beastly" which is a reinterpretation of "The Beauty and The Beast". What else can I say about this film except that it sucked ? Vanessa Hudgens is still terrible at playing well-behaved young girls, the storyline is weak... What a waste of time... So why am I writing about it ? Because of the outfits of the 2.0 with in the film. She is interpreted majestically by Mary-Kate Olsen. These outfits are to die for. See below:
