Mon grand projet 2016 est de développer ma chaîne YouTube. Je ne sais pas si j'y arriverais étant donné la difficulté que j'ai déjà à développer ce petit blog. Mais j'y crois. Pour ça, une grande partie de ma liste de Noël est composée de matériel dont j'aurais besoin pour ce faire. Je me suis rapidement rendue compte que j'avais, grâce à mes études en journalisme, des connaissances techniques à ce sujet que je pourrais mettre à la disposition de tout le monde. Ma liste est un peu plus pro que celle d'un débutant donc je la partage. Attention cependant, je pars du principe qu'on a tous une webcam ou un appareil photo qui filme voire une camera donc cela ne figure pas dans ma liste.

My big 2016 project is to launch a proper Youtube channel. I don't know if I will be able to keep it alive regarding the difficulty I already have to blog here. But I believe in myself. In order to succeed, my Christmas wishlist is mainly made of gear I could use. I quickly realised I have knowledge about it thanks to my journalism studies that might be useful to others. That's why I wanted to do this post and share my knowledge. However, I take it for granted that everyone has a webcam or a decent camera which records so I won't talk about it here.

Tripod

Vous aurez besoin d'un trépied pour filmer vos vidéos YouTube si vous ne filmez pas avec votre webcam. Cela apporte de la stabilité à l'image et vous permet de créer des angles différents (contre plongée, plongée, etc). Si vous avez l'habitude de superposer des livres, des bottins, des pots pour arriver à la bonne hauteur pour poser votre appareil photo c'est que vous avez besoin d'un trépied. Un trépied est aussi très pratique pour filmer en extérieur et être stable. Ceux de la marque Velbon sont légers à transporter, stables, grands et rétractables. Mais vous avez plein d'autres marques qui pourront s'adapter à vos besoins.

C'est pour ça que je vous conseilles de vous munir d'un enregistreur. Vous pouvez le poser près de vous, hors du champ de la camera si vous trouvez ça peu esthétique. Ils sont très performants et vous permettront au montage de sélectionner le canal avec le meilleur son, sans bruit ambiant, et vous gagnerez en qualité. Je vous conseille ceux de la marque Zoom que nous utilisions pour tourner nos reportages radio et qui sont donc professionnels. Ils sont tous dotés d'une prise jack où vous pourrez connecter un micro-cravate pour avoir une prise de son encore plus proche de la source et par conséquent encore plus claire. You can place it close to you, out of you camera's field of vision if you find it ugly to have it in. It is really efficient and enables you while editing to select the channel with the best sound, without the background noises, and you'll get a better sound quality. I would recommend the audio recorders from Zoom. We used them when radio reporting so they are rather professional. C'est un objet assez coûteux mes très utile pour des tutos beauté, des tutos coiffure ou toute autre vidéo qui nécessite une jolie mise en lumière. Ou un Macbook Air ou un iMac peu importe du moment que c'est un Macintosh. Ces ordinateurs sont plus puissants pour tout ce qui concerne le montage vidéo par rapport aux PC. Les logiciels de montage vidéo les plus performants sont très souvent uniquement compatibles avec des ordinateurs Apple. Aujourd'hui il est très simple de se munir d'un Mac à moindre coût. Vous pouvez les acheter reconditionnés, cela revient déjà moins cher. Il y a aussi, pour les étudiants, une réduction et un paiement différé. Allez vous renseigner en Apple Store. Notez que sur le GIF ci-dessus, le jeune homme a placé derrière son Macbook un enregistreur, voyez comme c'est discret.

Video editing software

My favourite video editing softwares are Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. They are easy to understand and there are loads of tutorials on Youtube. If, just like me, you grew up video editing on Windows Movie Maker, then Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere are fingers in the nose. For Adobe suite, there's also a student discount and staggering payments. Otherwise, there is a 30 day trial version on Adobe's website.

Mes préférés sont Final Cut Pro et Adobe Premiere. Ils sont très intuitifs et faciles d'usage. Il y a énormément de tutoriels en ligne pour vous apprendre à vous en servir mais si comme moi vous avez grandit sur Windows Movie Maker, vous allez trouver hyper simple Final Cut Pro et Adobe Premiere. Pour la suite Adobe, il y a également une réduction étudiante et un paiement différé. Sinon il y a une version d'essai de 30 jours. Renseignez-vous sur le site d'Adobe.
